     I posted my rescue dog, Deacon, after his brother was adopted. I had a few inquiries, but none that really fit into Dragon's life. Until a few days after I was hospitalized for a brain aneurysm. Deacon missed me and was really sad. I came home after two weeks and we had a very nice man call about Deacon. It was a love at first sight. Deacon is in his forever home and I couldn't be more pleased with his new daddy! Thank you Rescue Me for helping me keep my promise to Deacon by finding him his own place in life!

     I posted my mother's Manchester terrier for adoption on the Rescue Me site. My mother died and I didn't know what to do with her dog or how to find her a home. I had two calls on the dog. The first lady took Danny. She was excited to get the dog and had done her homework on the breed. I got a card from her a few days later writing me that she loved Danny and the dog had adjusted and was very happy. The total experience was great and gave me peace of mind that I had found a good home for my mother's dog.

     No Name, has a name and a new forever home thanks to Rescue Me! I found this little boy October 4th running down a busy street. I searched for his owners, placed ads and checked for a microchip, sadly no chip and no one claimed him. I posted his picture and story on Rescue Me on Wednesday, October 24th. On Sunday, October 28th a family from Austin saw his picture and called me. That same night his new dad drove to Midland, TX. We met Monday morning and they fell in love. His new family named him Mariah (for the wind, not the singer). Mariah is now living in Austin, TX with his new family. Thank you, Rescue Me, for helping me put this little guy's story out there. He's a great dog and he now has a great family all his own. Good luck Mariah!
